Juicy Cheeseburger Supreme on a Primo Ceramic Grill
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 hamburger buns, preferably brioche
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 4 lettuce leaves, washed and dried
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon of ketchup
- 1 teaspoon of mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil (for brushing)
- Optional: pickles, bacon strips, or avocado slices for added flair
Instructions:
- Prep Your Primo Ceramic Grill:
- Fire up your Primo Ceramic Grill, aiming for a medium-high heat of about 375°F (190°C). This perfect grilling temperature will ensure your burgers get that irresistible char on the outside while remaining juicy on the inside.
- Form the Patties:
- In a mixing bowl, gently combine the ground beef with salt and pepper. Be careful not to overwork the meat; this is the secret to a tender burger.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form into patties, slightly larger than your buns since they’ll shrink during cooking. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to prevent it from puffing up as it cooks.
- Grill ‘Em to Perfection:
- Brush each patty lightly with olive oil, then place them on the grill. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until you get those beautiful grill marks.
- Flip the patties and add a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each. Close the grill lid and cook for another 3-4 minutes for medium-rare, or longer for your preferred doneness.
- Buns and Toppings:
- While your burgers are cooking, lightly toast the buns on the grill for a minute or two for that extra crunch.
- Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl to create a simple, yet delicious burger sauce.
- Prepare your lettuce, tomato, and red onion slices.
- Assemble the Burgers:
- Spread your homemade sauce on the bottom half of each bun. Then layer on the lettuce, followed by the juicy burger patty with melted cheese.
- Add tomato, red onion, and any additional toppings you desire. Cap it off with the top bun.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Serve your masterpiece burgers immediately while they’re warm and the cheese is delightfully gooey. Pair with your favorite side—be it crispy fries, coleslaw, or a simple salad.
Cooking on a Primo Ceramic Grill not only enhances the flavor but also makes the entire experience more enjoyable. The even heat distribution ensures your burgers are cooked just the way you like them, while the smoky aroma it imparts will have everyone eager to take their first bite. Enjoy your culinary creation, a burger that promises to be as fun to make as it is to eat!
